Day Trip to Bursa from Istanbul

Bursa is definitely an ideal city close to Istanbul full of touristic importance with a day trip as it was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire if you are intending to base in Istanbul during your holiday in Turkey. It is located in the Marmara region, northwest of Turkey and is now the forth largest city in the country and has some of the most popular Ski resorts in Turkey from November till the end of March.

Pick up from your hotel in Taksim, Sultanahmet or Sirkeci area and drive to car ferry station to cross the sea of Marmara on ferry. Bursa is also known for its mass green areas within and around the city.
