Greece Turkey Tours Package Itinerary

Day 1-Arrival in Istanbul(No Meal)

Upon your arrival in Airport, our representative will be waiting for you at the exit gate with a board bearing your name and drive to your selected hotel. Constantinople(Qustantiniyyah) is the historical name of the city that was surrounded by Byzantine city walls for defending. On the way to your hotel, we will enter the Historical Peninsula through one of the gates with panorama of  domes of the Ottoman mosques. Settle in to your room and freshen up. Your tour consultant will visit you at the hotel at the appointed time for delivering your travel documents and receive the rest of the payment. Free time and overnight in Istanbul.

Note:Additional activities can be added to your program after having a quick nap and shower in the hotel such as dinner cruise on the Bosphorus or dance show of whirling dervishes.

Day 2-Cruise on the Bosphorus Strait and Visit Dolmabahce Palace

After having a delicious open buffet breakfast in your hotel, be ready at your hotel lobby at time indicated and join in with other fellow travellers to explore the beautiful city of Istanbul thorougly. Today we will have a 1,5 hour cruise on the Bosphorus Strait, visit Spice Bazaar, Dolmabahce Palace and drive up to Camlica where you can admire the whole city from one of the seven hilltop of Istanbul. Return to our hotels at 17h00-18h00 depending on the traffic conditions. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3-Private Walking Istanbul Old City Tour

Ready to enjoy a full day walking tour of Istanbul right after having your open buffet Turkish breakfast? You will have an opportunity to see the fascinating contrasts of past and present, which makes Istanbul a unique place for numerous emperors since the very early ages. Commence our trip from the Hippodrome Square where sport competitions used to take place during Romans and where present day tourists are getting oriented. Continue to 17th century Ottoman Mosque with its unusual number of six minarets touching to skies also known as Blue Mosque by non-muslims due to its blue Iznik tiles within. Right across the Blue Mosque we will visit legendary monument of Byzantine era the St.Sophia Museum. Lunch in a Turkish Restaurant and afterwards we will pay a visit to the last residence of Ottoman Dynasty in Istanbul, Topkapi Palace and finish our day wandering the labyrinth streets of Grand Bazaar. Return to our hotels. Overnight in Istanbul

Day 4-Free Time in Istanbul/Flight to Cappadocia

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you can either make self-guided tours of the modern part of the city or participate one of our guide escorted small group tours to learn more about the city’s history. Whatever is your choice please empty your room before noon time and leave your luggages to your hotel reception as we will have a flight to Cappadocia in the evening with a transfer at 18h00 from your hotel. Our local representative will receive you after your arrival and transfer to your boutique cave hotel. First glimpse of Cappadocia’s weird landscape will fool you that you are not in the World anymore. Free time and overnight in Cappadocia.


Day 5-Balloon Tour in Cappadocia /Guided Tour of South Cappadocia

Rise and shine after sleeping like a baby in an original cave room of your hotel(Regular stone rooms are also available on application for those having claustrophobia). To make the most of your stay, every morning bright and early hot air balloons are flying over Cappadocia. You can take part in an optional Hot Air Balloon Tour in Cappadocia that enables you to admire land forms and mushroom shaped chimneys of Cappadocia with stunning panorama of the Goreme, Uchisar, Avanos and surrounding area with bird’s eye view. We will stay more or less one hour in the air depending on the weather conditions. Return transfer will be around 07h30-08h00 back to our hotel depending on the seasonal time change of sunrise. You will have enough time to have a quick shower and breakfast. You can pack up your luggages and leave them in the reception.

Departure from the hotel and start our day trip with a 3 km hiking in red valley. You would leave no stone unturned on this journey through Cappadocia. During this slow hiking you will have a chance to see many hidden cave dwellings and natural formations while ending up our trail in Cavusin Village where you can picture the oldest church in the region dedicated to St.John. Lunch in a local restaurant and continue paying a visit to underground city of Kaymakli which is considered as the architectural masterpieces of Hittite people dug in the ground almost 3000 years ago. These Groundscapers were the ideal residential areas to the contrary of today’s world skyscrapers. We will see their ventilation shafts, round stone doors for protection from enemy attacks, winery and much more. Return to our hotels. Evening free at your own pace and mingle with locals and other international tourists in Goreme and have your own dinner to savour some more delicious Turkish food. Overnight in Goreme

Day 6-Tour of North Region of Cappadocia -Flight to Izmir

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the 2nd day excursion at 09h30 with our guide in small group and visit Devrent Valley, Monks Valley, Avanos (Vanessa), Pottery Workshop for enjoying demonstrations by a master on a Hittite style kick wheel. Lunch will served in a local Turkish Restaurant. Our next stop will be legendary official Goreme Open Air Museum. We will finish the day by sipping our tea overlooking the fabulous panorama of Goreme from a hilltop. After saying farewell to Cappadocia we will head to airport to board the late flight to Izmir also know as the pearl of the Aegean. Local agent will meet you at the exit gate after luggage claim and private transfer to Kusadasi. Check in our hotel and overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 7- Explore Ephesus and House of Mother Mary

After breakfast, meet your guide in reception and start the day trip in ruins of Ephesus. Imagine a place that has so much to offer from the ancient history. Ephesus allowing thousands years of architectural monuments that has been carefully preserved and maintained. Some restored relics still displays historical power and majesty. Also visit House of Mother Mary where its believed spent her last days still has an important role in the history of humanity. End of the tour, return to your hotel. You can easily walk to Cruise port to embark the cruise and set off to Crete at 19:00 from Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in onboard. Once you settle in your cabin, you can explore the ship and activities onboard.

During the cruise in Greek Islands, your Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is included onboard with Open Buffet in Restaurants. But while you are on the Island on your own, your personal expenses are at your own cost.

Day 8 – Crete Island (B, L, D)


Breakfast onboard and free time in Crete on your own. Please return to the ship 45 minutes prior to departure.

Day 9 – Santorini ( B, L, D )


Early morning arrival in Santorini. You have lots of time to move around and explore this beautiful Cycladic island famous with its amazing architecture and specific white stone houses, spectacular cliffs and the panoramic view of the sunset in Oia that is highly recommended. Don’t miss the chance to visit the capital of the island Fira.

Day 10 -Mykonos ( B, L, D )

Departure:02:00 (Same day after midnight)

Early morning arrival in Mykonos. You have a full day in Mykonos which is one of the most cosmopolitan of the Greek islands, perfectly preserved around its harbour. During the day time, you can spend your day at one of the famous beaches like Kalafatis or Paradise beach with crazy parties and in the night time just wander through its narrow streets with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Overnight onboard.

Day 11 -Milos ( B, L, D )


Volcanic island of Milos, one of the most
beautiful places on earth. You can participate one of the guided shore excursions that you can purchase from reception of the ship with additional fee where you can visit Sarakiniko of pure white stone with it’s geological wonders and perhaps one of the most photographed places in the Cyclades. You’ll feel as if you’ve landed on the moon.

Day 12- Athens  ( B, L, D )


Athens is the capital of Greece since early ages. There are lots of historical spots to explore either by shore excursions or on your own.

Day 13-Thessaloniki ( B, L, D )


Thessaloniki is the second city of Greece and the
capital of Macedonia. It has a fascinating and colourful history with evidence of Byzantine, Roman and Ottoman remains and it was the richest city in the Byzantine Empire.
It is a glorious blend of beauty, history, and culture,
framed by vast and stunning sea views and is
considered to be Greece’s cultural capital. There are lots of historical spots to explore either by shore excursions or on your own.

Day 14- Arrive in Kusadasi / Flight to Istanbul  ( B, L )


Upon arrival in Kusadasi, you can walk to Ilayda Avangarde Hotel and we meet you at the reception and transfer you to airport for your flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival to Istanbul airport, you will be greeted by Road Runner Travel represent to transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 15- Free Day in Istanbul

After breakfast, you can spend your last one full day in Istanbul on your own either for more exploration or shopping. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 16 – Istanbul – End of  Package

After breakfast, check out the hotel , we will arrange transfer to international airport for your flight.
