Meet the team in the Istanbul airport / Sabiha Gokce airport or cruise port upon your arrival and private transfer to your selected hotel. Check-in to your room and have some rest. Arrival Afternoon (If arriving around noon & feeling fresh): After settling into your hotel, dive straight into Istanbul by grabbing a quick, authentic bite from the city's ubiquitous street food stalls. Turks excel at delicious on-the-go eats like Döner sandwiches, loaded Kumpir potatoes, or Simit bagels – an essential local experience. Then, orient yourself and see the sights efficiently by opting for an introductory city highlights tour. First Evening: As dusk approaches, take a tram or taxi to the Galata Tower. Enjoy breathtaking sunset city views from its balcony. Next, head to bustling Istiklal Avenue (once called the Grand Rue de Pera). You can walk or ride the charming Nostalgic Tram towards Taksim Square (Istanbul's vibrant heart, akin to Times Square).
