Day 3: Free Morning – Travel to Canakkale by Minibus—Gallipoli Battlefields
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Pickup from your hotel at 06h00 in the morning. Travel to Gallipoli/Canakkale by minibus. Our journey will take more or less 5.5 hours by land. Çanakkale is the second city of the country that straddles both continents: Asia and Europe. Upon your arrival, we will have our lunch first, and after lunch start to explore the battlefields and graveyards with the assistance of our local guide. We will visit numerous important areas where the World War took place in 1915 between the Ottomans and Allied powers to gain control of the Dardanelles. Overnight in Canakkale. At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. You can spend the free time exploring this beautiful coastal city nestled by the Dardanelles. Day 4: Visit Troy and Pergamon and Travel to Kusadasi
Early breakfast at the hotel. Check out from your room. Meet your guide at the lobby and head out to Troy with our luggage, which is half an hour’s distance from Canakkale. The town of Troy is known from Homer’s Iliad, and almost all old settlements are scattered in a wide area dating back 4,000 years of archaeological evidence that was only discovered within the last century. After our visit to Troy, we will have a 3-hour bus ride south on the west coast of Turkey and reach Pergamon. First we will have our lunch and continue to Acropolis. We will see many unique artifacts located on a hilltop ancient city and drive to Kusadasi in approximately 3.5 hours. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 5: Tour of Ephesus and Visit to Cottage of Mother Mary
After breakfast, pick up from the hotel and start the day trip to the ruins of Ephesus. Imagine a place that has so much to offer from the ancient history. Ephesus allows thousands of years of architectural monuments that have been carefully preserved and maintained. Some restored relics still display historical power and majesty. The ancient Roman capital of Asia Minor, Ephesus, which we can call the Pompeii of Turkey. Because many civilizations lived here and fell into oblivion until it was rediscovered by archaeologists in the late 1800s. Visit major highlights and ruins like the Temple of Hadrian and the Library of Celsus, which is considered the most important image that looks more like a temple than a library. Theater with the capacity of almost 24,000 people during its time. If you would like to have a general idea of the site and how big the theater is, you can climb up the stairs and admire the landscape and city’s magnitude with a bird’s-eye view. Also visit the House of Mother Mary, believed spent her last days having been brought here by St. John from Jerusalem, which is located on a hill near Ephesus and still has an important role in the history of humanity. Day 6: Tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis / Night Bus to Cappadocia
Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Start off another day full of fun and history after driving some 3+ hours from Kusadasi. You will commence the tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis from the top of the mountain. This remarkably well-kept remain of the Greek-Roman era is full of a supreme combination of human-made structures and natural wonders. It’s strictly forbidden to walk with your shoes or slippers to avoid damage to these delicate white deposits, but this is a really good thing, as you let this surface massage your soles while walking in its warm, healing waters, grazing your toes. If you are not willing to swim, you can simply roll up your pants, but it’s recommended to wear your swimsuits to splash in its mineral waters during your hike, and you may also succumb to your childlike instincts and jump into these natural infinity pools to the best of your ability. Your guide will give you some free time to linger on these white terraces made of limestone deposits and take some pictures to make your family and friends jealous.
The original Hellenistic constructions had been devastated by earthquakes in the first century, so the majority of the historical artifacts we will visit today are from the Roman era. The antique pool of Cleopatra (additional local cost applies) offers us a rare opportunity to swim in warm, healing water amongst the collapsed marble columns of the Apollo Temple (divine founder of the city), which was toppled into the water after many successive earthquakes. At the end of the day, travel to Cappadocia by night bus. Overnight onboard.
Day 7: Underground City Tour of Cappadocia
Arrival in Cappadocia, leaving our luggage in our office, and some free time. Start our day trip with a 3 km hike in Red Valley. You would leave no stone unturned on this journey through Cappadocia. During this slow hiking, you will have a chance to see many hidden cave dwellings and natural formations while ending up our trail in Cavusin Village, where you can picture the oldest church in the region dedicated to St.John. Lunch in a local restaurant and continue paying a visit to the underground city of Kaymakli, which is considered one of the architectural masterpieces of the Hittite people, dug in the ground almost 3000 years ago. Day 8: Balloon Ride in Cappadocia / Tour of Cappadocia
Making the most of your holiday, every morning at dawn balloons are flying over Cappadocia. You can join an optional hot air balloon tour in Cappadocia that enables you to admire sites and mushroom-shaped chimneys of Cappadocia with stunning panoramas of Goreme, Uchisar, Avanos, and the surrounding area with a bird’s-eye view. Return will be around 07h30 back to our hotel, depending on the seasonal time change, and we will have enough time to have a quick shower and breakfast before you kick off for your second day trip. You can pack up your luggage and leave it in the reception. Departure for the 2nd day excursion at 09h30 with our guide in a small group to visit Devrent Valley, Monks Valley, Avanos (Vanessa), and a pottery workshop to enjoy a demonstration by a craftsman on a Hittite-style kick wheel. Lunch will be served in a local Turkish restaurant. Continue to Goreme Open Air Museum. Transfer to the airport and flight to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
